Background of the Event "Nakayama Chestnuts" are one of Japan's three great chestnuts. Ehime Prefecture ranks third nationwide in chestnut production. With a long history, "Nakayama Chestnuts" were presented to the third Shogun Tokugawa Iemitsu and praised. Despite being a famous chestnut producing region, Nakayama Town's charm is not widely known. This contest is held with the aim of making Nakayama Town known to more people, promoting the appeal of Nakayama Chestnuts, and creating regional vibrancy.

Application Conditions - Must use Nakayama Chestnuts (including processed products) - Applicants must be able to attend the 39th Nakayama Chestnut Festival (scheduled) on September 23 (Wed) - The parfait must be an original creation suitable for each participating store (Hana no Mori Hotel, Koyomi Space, Hot Sandwich Restaurant Neko) - Submissions must be unpublished recipes only - There is no limit to the number of entries
