Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture, is hosting the "Koinobori Aquarium" at the Kazo Future Center from March 4 to May 11, featuring various carp streamers swimming gracefully. An authentic koinobori making workshop led by the "Koishikai" artisan community will also be held on April 4 and 5.

Welcome to the Koinobori Aquarium!

At the Kazo Future Center in Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture—known as the "City of Koinobori"—we are currently hosting the "Koinobori Aquarium." This event transforms the facility's iconic giant glass wall into a fish tank where a wide variety of colorful koinobori (carp streamers) swim gracefully. (Admission free)

The diverse koinobori, including hand-painted and creative designs, represent "harmony in a diverse society" in the modern age.

Looking out from the second floor, with the majestic Tone River flowing in the background and the mountains of the northern Kanto region towering in the distance, you will surely feel a powerful story from the sight of koinobori swimming elegantly in nature.

🎨 One of a kind in the world! "Koinobori Making Experience" by Koishikai

At the Kazo Future Center, a full-scale "Koinobori Making Experience" led by the koinobori artisan community "Koishikai" will be held for two days on April 4 (Saturday) and 5 (Sunday).

Since the underdrawing is prepared in advance, anyone from children to adults can enjoy participating. Because it is finished with fabric, it can be displayed outdoors after completion.
