Minamikyushu City Establishes New Incentive Program to Strongly Support Local Employment for Young People!

Minamikyushu City has newly established an incentive program from fiscal year 2026 to provide grants to young people who are from the local area or have graduated from high schools within the city and find employment at local businesses.

Minamikyushu City aims for young people born and raised in the area to feel pride and affection for their hometown and choose to work and live there.

Incentive Amount 200,000 yen (for those employed by June 30, 2028)

Three Conditions to Receive the Incentive Applicants must meet all three of the following requirements to apply for the incentive. *However, those who have received the "Minamikyushu City Childcare Worker etc. Employment Support Subsidy" and "Minamikyushu City Care Worker etc. Employment Support Subsidy" are not eligible for this incentive.

1. New Graduates Those who have graduated from the following schools within one year are eligible.

Junior High School High School Special Needs School (Junior High Division, High School Division) College of Technology Vocational School University (including Graduate School, Junior College)

2. Local Residents Those who meet any of the following are eligible.

Graduates of high schools within the city (Ei High School, Satsunan Kogyo High School, Kawabe High School) Those who have attended elementary or junior high schools within the city for at least one year (registered in the resident basic ledger)

3. City Businesses Those who are employed as "regular employees" (full-time employees) in city businesses covered by labor and social insurance are eligible.

Application Acceptance Period Applications can be submitted within three months after six months of employment at the target business.
