[Miyazaki City x Meiji Yasuda x Zenrin] Strengthening regional disaster resilience through public-private partnership! Creation of the Miyazaki City Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster Map!

Miyazaki City, in collaboration with Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company (hereinafter 'Meiji Yasuda') and Zenrin Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Zenrin'), has created the 'Miyazaki City Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster Map' to contribute to citizens' disaster awareness and safe living. The 10,000 maps produced will be distributed free of charge by Meiji Yasuda staff in urban areas starting June 1, 2026 (Monday), based on a three-party agreement. This initiative is part of the disaster prevention activities under the comprehensive partnership agreement between Miyazaki City and Meiji Yasuda Life. Utilizing Zenrin's accurate geospatial information, the map is designed as a single sheet for quick reference during disasters. In addition to tsunami hazard information, it includes a comprehensive list of evacuation centers. It also features practical articles such as responses to earthquakes and tsunamis, communal living at shelters, and emergency supply checklists. The size is convenient for posting on walls or folding into emergency bags.
