【Still Time to Join!】Highly Anticipated Late July Events
① 7/18 (Sat) Indigo Harvest and Dyeing Experience
Featuring Yukizumi Fukami from Kominka Miyakubo as instructor, this indigo dyeing workshop starts with harvesting indigo plants grown with care at Hosaka Natural Park from seeds collected last year! Experience the depth and joy of traditional dyeing from scratch in this special hands-on workshop.
Date & Time: July 18, 2026 (Sat) 10:00–12:00
Fee: 1,000 JPY per person
What to Bring: Clothes that can get dirty (aprons acceptable), rubber gloves

② 7/26 (Sun) Forest Water Play
Come and go as you like! The popular summer-cooling event returns this year, with indoor and outdoor dining areas provided. Dive into the refreshing water and enjoy nature in the cool forest!
Date & Time: July 26, 2026 (Sun) 10:30–14:30
Fee: 300 JPY per person (※For elementary school students and younger; accompanying guardians enter free)
What to Bring: Swimsuit (swim diapers acceptable), change of clothes, towel, sandals, drinks, and any items needed for children

【Important Notes for Guardians – Water Play Guidelines】
Guardians must remain on-site during the activity.
For hygiene reasons, regular disposable diapers are not permitted in the water (swim diapers are acceptable).
No prior reservation required, but capacity may be limited for safety during peak times.
No tools needed—try anytime! Woodworking Workshop Also Ongoing
Even outside event days, the 'Hosaka Natural Park Fureai Center' offers an ongoing woodworking workshop. It's recommended to create summer vacation crafts or memorable handmade items while enjoying the warmth of wood.

The 'Hosaka Natural Park', the event venue, is a grand natural adventure park developed within approximately 170 hectares (1.7 million square meters) of preserved forest—Nirasaki City's pride!
Upon entering the park, a giant stag beetle sculpture welcomes you—immediately boosting children's excitement.
Thanks to its vast grounds, the park offers well-developed courses for enjoying nature at your own pace.
For the active crowd: Enjoy the 5km trail running course or mountain biking courses (long: 2.7km / short: 0.6km).
For the relaxed crowd: Take a walk along the 4km nature trail, enjoying dappled sunlight and a light hiking experience.
Inside the park, the Hosaka Natural Park Fureai Center hosts experiential events using forest resources, such as woodworking workshops!
