Sapporo City Adds Employment Subsidies to Business Location Promotion Subsidies!

Sapporo City is undergoing urban renewal through large-scale redevelopment in its central area. Under the slogan "Dai-Satsu-Shin," which embodies the meaning "Sapporo is changing, greatly and newly," the city is actively working to attract businesses.

With numerous large buildings scheduled for completion from fiscal year 2026 onwards, Sapporo City is expanding its business location promotion subsidies to further accelerate business attraction.

Revised Subsidies

1. Sapporo City Head Office Function/Back Office Location Promotion Subsidy (Maximum 200 million yen)

・Addition of Employment Subsidy

For new establishments, a maximum of 1 million yen per person will be subsidized.

・Relaxation of Personnel Requirements

The personnel requirement for head office functions will be relaxed from "20 people or more" to "10 people or more."

2. Sapporo City IT, Content, and Bio Location Promotion Subsidy (Maximum 100 million yen)
