"Can I work in a male-dominated workplace?"

"What's the atmosphere like at work?"

"What will happen to my career when I get married or have children?"

Civil engineering, architecture, machinery, electricity, and other so-called "STEM workplaces" are often perceived as male-dominated. A seminar will be held in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture, to encourage junior high and high school girls who are interested in STEM careers and workplaces but have anxieties and questions like, "Can I do it...?"

"You're Welcome Even If You Just 'Kind of Like STEM'! A Recommendation for Women in STEM"

At this seminar, participants will visit actual businesses in Toyohashi City and have direct interaction with female engineers working in "STEM workplaces." Through workplace tours and hands-on analysis experiences, you can gain a clearer image of work environments and envision your future self working.

Even those undecided between humanities and STEM may find hints for their career decisions.

Voices from Past Participants

From participants in last year's seminar, we received positive feedback such as:

"I thought I was more suited for humanities, but I realized STEM is also good."

"Hearing from the female employees, I want to use this to help with my future choices."

"Overall, it was very easy to understand, and the atmosphere encouraged questions."
