Clark Memorial International High School (headquarters: Asahikawa City, Hokkaido) and Clark NEXT High School (headquarters: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture) (hereinafter referred to as both schools) will hold a "Crime Prevention Class for High School Students on SNS and Under-the-Table Jobs (Tokuryu)" for students nationwide on June 19, 2026 (Friday), with the cooperation of the Metropolitan Police Department.

As recruitment for "under-the-table jobs" through SNS and criminal acts by anonymous and fluid criminal groups (Tokuryu) become social issues, both schools will implement this lecture. Through pre- and post-lecture work, the lecture aims to cultivate knowledge and the ability to refuse, appropriate consultation behavior, and judgment necessary in the SNS era for each student to perceive crime as their own issue and avoid being involved.

Background of the Initiative In recent years, there has been a rapid increase in recruitment of high school students through SNS by criminal organizations known as "Tokuryu" (anonymous and fluid criminal groups). Cases where students are lured by phrases like "You can earn money easily" and end up involved in crimes, leading to irreparable situations, are not uncommon.

As a correspondence high school with students from diverse backgrounds, Clark High School and Clark NEXT High School consider it their responsibility as a school to create an environment where all students, regardless of their attendance pattern, can acquire knowledge and judgment to protect themselves from crime. Through this collaboration with the Metropolitan Police Department, the lecture will convey the real situation to students, which can only be conveyed by police officers involved in crime investigation and crime prevention activities on the front lines.

Crime Prevention Education that Cultivates "Knowing, Thinking, and Acting" The feature of this lecture is not only to convey the dangers of under-the-table jobs but also to emphasize the following three perspectives so that students can think for themselves and take appropriate actions.

Knowing: Correctly understand the reality of under-the-table jobs, the methods of SNS recruitment, and the mechanisms of Tokuryu. Thinking: Hold the perspective that "it could happen to me" and perceive the danger of getting involved lightly as your own issue. Acting: Acquire the ability to identify suspicious recruitment, refuse, and consult with others when in trouble.

In addition, this lecture is based on the content with an "ordinary high school student" as the protagonist, making it easy for students to think "What would I do?" Based on actual cases and the reality of SNS recruitment, the lecture promotes deep understanding and behavioral change among students.

Continuous Crime Prevention Education Including Pre- and Post-Learning This lecture does not stop at a one-time lecture but aims to cultivate continuous crime prevention awareness by combining pre- and post-learning.

[Pre-Learning] Work to reflect on your own SNS usage / Class discussion on the theme "Why are high school students targeted?" [Main Lecture] Lecture by the Metropolitan Police Department (Hybrid format of face-to-face and online) [Post-Learning] Filling out a reflection sheet / Distribution of materials for parents and promotion of dialogue within the family / Collection of crime prevention senryu to solidify learning

Through this lecture, we will cultivate knowledge, judgment, and the ability to consult that are necessary for students to live in the SNS era, with each student taking the initiative to think.
