Classmethod Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Satoshi Yokota) announced that its practical education service 'DevelopersIO BASECAMP' (hereinafter 'DevCamp') has been selected again this year as a subsidized course for the 'Tokyo Digital Academy Young Engineer Course' (hereinafter 'TDA') implemented by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

This year, in order to realize not only skill improvement but also 'career advancement job changes' for students, the program will collaborate with 'CM Career', a job change support service of the Classmethod Group. The program will provide end-to-end support from AWS skill acquisition to successful employment.

Classmethod has been offering 'DevCamp' since 2022 to contribute to securing IT talent and promoting corporate digitalization amidst an intensifying talent shortage, producing IT engineers who have successfully transitioned to cloud engineers and those selected as AWS Community Builders.

Starting this year, the Classmethod Group's recruitment agency 'CM Career' has joined as a TDA-certified job change support service. By utilizing CM Career in conjunction with DevCamp, students are offered three advantages: strong recommendation power through an end-to-end system of education and corporate introduction, support from highly specialized career advisors with IT industry experience, and a proven track record of successful job placements. For example, a student from last year with a short history in the IT industry and no cloud experience successfully transitioned to an AWS engineer through intensive support.

The program focuses on practical application and output in the AWS cloud field, aiming for career advancement as a cloud engineer. Students will engage in role-playing with business stakeholders and create deliverables based on assignments that simulate various tasks of an AWS engineer. The tuition fee is 330,000 yen (tax included), but a maximum of 300,000 yen will be subsidized upon program completion as a TDA participant. The curriculum consists of role-play parts for AWS construction, AWS design, and requirement gathering, with a standard learning time of 140 hours.

The schedule includes three terms starting in August, September, and October 2026, each lasting four months, with a planned capacity of 20 students per term. Online role-playing and ongoing support by mentors are provided.
