Classmethod Wins TREND MICRO Partner Award for Third Consecutive Year

Classmethod, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Satoshi Yokota; hereinafter 'Classmethod') has been awarded the TREND MICRO Partner Award 2026 'Cloud Marketplace Security Award' at 'TrendAI™ Spark 2026,' an event hosted by Trend Micro, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Eva Chen; hereinafter 'Trend Micro') on Friday, July 3, 2026. Additionally, two engineers from Classmethod, Kyohsei Shimada and Takeshi Yoshida, received the TREND MICRO Partner Engineer Award 2026.

This marks the third consecutive year that Classmethod has received both the Partner Award and individual Engineer Awards. The fact that both engineers received the highest honors in their respective categories reflects the high recognition of Classmethod’s exceptional technical expertise and thought leadership regarding Trend Micro’s products.

About the TREND MICRO Partner Award 2026

The TREND MICRO Partner Award 2026 is presented to partner companies that have made outstanding contributions, achievements, and results in expanding the business of Trend Micro’s products and solutions between April 2025 and March 2026.

The 'Cloud Marketplace Security Award' was newly introduced last year and recognizes Classmethod for delivering Trend Micro’s cloud security products to the largest number of customers in Japan via AWS Marketplace, protecting their cloud environments. (As of the end of May 2026)

About the TREND MICRO Partner Engineer Award 2026

The TREND MICRO Partner Engineer Award 2026 is presented to individual engineers from partner companies who have made significant technical contributions to expanding Trend Micro’s business and achieving customer success between April 2025 and March 2026, the same period as the Partner Award.

The 'Product Innovation Award' is given to engineers who have contributed to improving the quality and value of Trend Micro’s products through product validation, technical feedback, and improvement suggestions. Kyohsei Shimada from the Cloud Business Division has been consistently evaluating Trend Micro’s products, providing feedback to the development team from a partner’s perspective on usability and convenience, and submitting detailed improvement proposals. His contributions to enhancing the quality and value of Trend Micro’s products were highly recognized. This is Shimada’s third consecutive Engineer Award, and this year he received the top honor in the newly established Product Innovation Award category.

The 'Influence Award' is presented to engineers who have made a significant impact on the industry and within partner companies through community activities, technical outreach, event speaking, and internal/external awareness initiatives. Takeshi Yoshida, also from the Cloud Business Division, was highly recognized for continuously proposing the most suitable Trend Micro products for each customer’s cloud environment and for his outstanding technical communication on not only Trend Micro’s products but also their integration with other AWS services. Yoshida received the top honor in the Influence Award category.

Moving forward, Classmethod will continue to actively collaborate with Trend Micro to address evolving cloud security challenges for its customers.
