NPO Clean Ocean Ensemble exhibits at 'Circular Cities 2026'

The NPO Clean Ocean Ensemble, which works to solve marine debris issues, exhibited at the 'Circular Cities Conference & Festival 2026' held at the former Kyoto City Child Welfare Center from May 14 to 16, 2026. The event focused on the theme of re-editing urban resources to realize circular cities, and the organization shared its on-site efforts toward achieving a world with zero marine debris. There were 86 visitors over the three days, about 70% of whom were corporate representatives. The organization engaged in concrete discussions regarding future business collaborations with about 20% of the corporate visitors. The group works on installing marine debris collection devices and developing data tools, and is currently seeking donations and pro bono volunteers.
