Webinar: Lithium-ion Battery Optimal Management - SOC & Degradation Estimation Techniques

CMC Research is hosting a live-stream seminar on July 22, 2026, titled "Optimal Management of Lithium-ion Batteries: SOC and Degradation Estimation Techniques." Professor Masahiro Fukui from the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Ritsumeikan University will serve as the instructor, providing a systematic overview of Battery Management System (BMS) technologies essential for EV and HEV applications.

The seminar will cover topics ranging from battery modeling methods to State of Charge (SOC) estimation using Kalman filters and degradation diagnosis using Recursive Least Squares (RLS). Practical implementation using MATLAB and the latest techniques in lifespan prediction will also be discussed.

Participation fees are 55,000 JPY (standard), 49,500 JPY (newsletter members), and 26,400 JPY (academic), all inclusive of tax and seminar materials. Registration is available on the CMC Research official website.
