(Central News Agency, Tehran, 27th) An official from Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated today that it is unlikely to resume war with the United States, but he also warned that Iran is prepared to deal with any attack.

According to AFP, Mohammad Akbarzadeh, deputy head of the political department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, told the Tasnim News Agency: "Because the enemy is weak, the possibility of war is low."

He also added, "The armed forces are fully armed and on high alert," and "Do not doubt that we will turn the entire area from Chabahar to Mahshahr into a graveyard for invaders."
