Fo Guang Shan Huizhong Temple's 'Future and Hope' Lecture Series Features 32 Speakers

Central News Agency, Taichung, May 27: The 'Future and Hope' lecture series at Fo Guang Shan Huizhong Temple will begin on the 30th, featuring 32 renowned speakers in a relay of 29 lectures. The temple announced today that this year, it has invited emerging artists to create works based on the lecture themes, combining art with the sessions. Fo Guang Shan Huizhong Temple announced that the 2026 'Future and Hope' series will run from May 30 to June 27, with lectures held every night from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM for 29 consecutive days. The theme this year is 'Harmonious Coexistence,' aiming to guide the public through turbulent times with a spirit of harmony. Since its inception in 2015, the series has entered its 12th year, with over 300 lectures and more than 20 million participants online and offline. Unlike previous years, the temple has invited emerging artists to create works under the guidance of Professor Wei Yan-shun from the National Taichung University of Education. Abbot Jue Ju stated that the theme was inspired by the calligraphy of the late Master Hsing Yun, 'Harmonious Coexistence, Success is Imminent,' and serves as a profound response to the current global situation. The lineup includes long-time speakers Xie Zhe-qing and Hong Lan, as well as first-time guests lyricist Vincent Fang and actress Miao Ke-li.
