Formosa Water Technology and Ecolab Form Strategic Partnership to Upgrade Industrial Water Treatment in Taiwan

Formosa Water Technology, an investment of Formosa Biomedical, announced today that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the global water treatment technology leader Ecolab. The collaboration aims to support the comprehensive smart upgrade of industrial water treatment in Taiwan. This is a key strategic move for the Formosa Plastics Group to deepen its water resource management and green sustainable industry efforts. Wang Rui-yu, Chairman of Formosa Water Technology, stated that the group has long been committed to the circular economy, and water recycling is a top priority for achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Through this partnership with Ecolab, the group will raise its internal energy-saving and carbon-reduction standards. In the future, they plan to expand smart water management to external high-tech and semiconductor supply chains to support the green upgrade of Taiwan's industries. Tu Pu-jen, General Manager of Ecolab Taiwan, expressed his expectation to bring Ecolab's core technologies to Taiwan.
