The film 'Big Mong,' which won five Golden Horse Awards and grossed over 100 million NTD, was released on the streaming platform Netflix today, and the film's commemorative book set was also officially published and released. According to a press release issued by Thinkingdom, the book fully records how director Chen Yu-hsun and his team filmed this most difficult theme and era in Taiwan. The book contains precious film stills, hand-drawn art sketches, and a replica of the 'A-Mi and A-Shui' sketch book that attracted much attention from the audience. In the article 'The Landscape Left Behind' in the book, Chen Yu-hsun stated, 'The landscape we see now was built by our predecessors. I hope we can also build a beautiful landscape for future generations.' The press release points out that this book is also a precious archive of film and television production, including 66 stills carefully selected by still photographer Wu Yi-chih, 30 hand-drawn scene sketches by Golden Horse Best Art Design winner Wang Chih-cheng, and in-depth analysis of 12 era scenes and 6 key frames and objects. The book launch event for the 'Big Mong' commemorative book set will be held on the 31st, inviting Chen Yu-hsun and Wang Chih-cheng to talk about behind-the-scenes stories at the Taiwan Literature Granary.
