Direct Hiring Center Supports Retention of Skilled Caregivers

The Workforce Development Agency's Kaohsiung-Pingtung-Penghu-Taitung Branch established the 'Direct Hiring Joint Service Center' this February, providing one-stop direct hiring and transfer services to help families and businesses stabilize their workforce. Since 2022, the Ministry of Labor has promoted the 'Foreign Worker Retention Scheme,' allowing workers with over six years of experience and specialized skills to be converted into 'Foreign Technical Personnel,' bypassing work duration limits. Employers benefit from this by retaining familiar talent and being exempt from employment stabilization fees.
