Two Chinese men surnamed Huang were detained in Lienchiang County's Nangan and Beigan townships for allegedly posing as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctors. They performed medical consultations, pulse readings, and sold pills of unknown composition without proper qualifications. Following an investigation by police and prosecutors, the two were taken into custody. The Fujian Lienchiang District Prosecutors Office stated that the suspects are accused of violating the Physician Act and committing fraud under the Criminal Code. Prosecutors determined there was a high risk of flight and recidivism, and the court approved their detention. The men had entered Matsu from Fujian, China, on tourist visas.
