Acer Chairman and CEO Jason Chen stated that CPU shortages are the most severe issue in the PC supply chain. However, he expects the situation to ease as more chip manufacturers join the supply chain. Chen, speaking at a forum for COMPUTEX, emphasized that AI adoption is a long-term process of resource reallocation and optimization. Regarding the PC market, he predicted that while shipment volumes may decline, total market value could still exceed last year's figures due to rising prices. He also noted that Acer will continue to offer a diverse product portfolio to meet different user needs, including those for Google's AI laptops.
