National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), under a project by the Taiwan Space Agency (TASA), announced that its CubeSat 'PARUS-6U1' has successfully launched via a SpaceX rocket and established stable communication. This marks a key facility for advancing Taiwan's indigenous aerospace research. NTUT stated that the satellite, launched on March 30, features an S-band communication payload designed and assembled by the university team. After entering orbit, the ground station successfully tracked signals and established communication. The S-band system will undergo in-orbit verification for high-frequency data transmission. Additionally, the satellite carries an Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS) developed by Tensor Tech. If these technologies are successfully verified, they will serve as a cornerstone for Taiwan's aerospace industry. The team continues to monitor the satellite's status and will release further results in due course.
