Shohei Ohtani Shines with Home Run and 6 No-Hit Innings in Win

Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani hit a home run and pitched six no-hit innings tonight. Although the Colorado Rockies ended the no-hit bid with a hit in the 8th inning, the Dodgers ultimately defeated the Rockies 4-1. Ohtani's scoreless streak of 19 1/3 innings ended in the 4th inning, raising his ERA to 0.82. However, he secured his third consecutive win. In his nine starts this season, Ohtani has not allowed more than two runs in any game, with eight of those games allowing one earned run or less. Ohtani recorded 7 strikeouts and 4 walks, throwing 99 pitches. He also hit his 28th career leadoff home run, his 4th of the season.
