Following completion, the stadium will undergo high-intensity live stress tests to ensure safety before it is officially opened. Chen Ming-cheng, Director of the Public Works Department, explained that waste inside the field has been removed, and the installation of artificial turf is expected to be completed by the end of July, with hardware completion and international certification by mid-August. Lin Li-sheng, Director of the Education Department, stated that the stadium will focus on top-tier events, youth development, and cultural performances. Deputy Mayor Lin Kun-han, a former baseball player, emphasized that the stadium will be opened gradually only after safety is confirmed. City councilors expressed various views, ranging from criticism of past construction issues to expectations for future professional baseball games. The city aims to return a safe and compliant stadium to the citizens.
