Kinmen's Traditional 'Da Hua Cao' Performance Continues, Youth Gather to Celebrate City God Festival

The traditional Kinmen performing art 'Da Hua Cao' was performed during the 'Ying Chenghuang' (Welcoming the City God) procession on the 12th day of the fourth lunar month. Wang Cheng-ching, who organizes the troupe, expressed her joy in gathering every year to connect with local friends, calling it a 'beautiful fate.' Over a dozen youths and children played roles such as scholars and beggars, performing the story of Zheng Yuanhe and Li Yaxian. Even those who were previously uninterested in temple activities have joined through friends, making it a vital activity for strengthening local bonds.
