Following the inaugural Taiwan Craft Season last year, the Craft Center announced today that this year's event will begin in June. With the support of the Ministry of Culture's 'Top 100 Cultural Bases,' the number of activity locations has increased from 38 last year to over 65, bringing crafts into local communities. The 2026 Taiwan Craft Season covers five main themes: craft island networking, exhibitions, events, markets, and travel. Deputy Minister of Culture Wang Shih-si stated that crafts serve as a medium for cultural inheritance, connecting people's memories in modern life. The event also features a digital stamp collection system via LINE, offering prizes to participants. The event runs from June 1 to August 31.
