New Taipei Kings player Su Shih-hsuan was also fined NT$10,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct. The TPBL championship is currently underway, featuring the defending champion Kings against the Formosa Dreamers. However, Game 2 saw frequent physical contact and minor altercations. The league announced today that after reviewing the game and the post-game press conference, it confirmed violations of league regulations. Coach Hung was fined NT$50,000 for implying unfair officiating and making aggressive remarks during the press conference, violating league rules. Additionally, player Su Shih-hsuan's foul on Dreamers player Brandon Gilbeck was deemed by the league as not a normal basketball move, resulting in a NT$10,000 fine and one penalty point. The TPBL reiterated that professional teams and players, as public figures, should uphold the professional image and credibility of the sport. Post-game press conferences should be platforms for explaining and discussing game content, and comments should be rational and respectful, avoiding emotional or aggressive language. On-court behavior should also comply with sportsmanship and competition regulations. (Editor: Zhang Mingkun)
