Lin Shu-yi hit a go-ahead triple in the bottom of the 7th inning, leading the Guardians to a 4-2 victory and handing the Brothers their 8th consecutive loss. Manager Tomoaki Goto praised Lin, saying, 'He lived up to his reputation.' The Brothers took an early lead, but Fubon's Fan Kuo-chen hit a solo home run to tie the game. In the 7th, Lin's two-RBI triple secured the lead. Starting pitcher Shawn Morimando pitched 6 innings allowing 1 run, while Lai Hong-cheng earned his first win of the season.
