Taiwan's Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) released its latest economic forecast on the 29th. Due to stronger-than-expected demand for AI, high-performance computing, and cloud infrastructure, the annual economic growth forecast has been significantly raised to 9.64%, an increase of 1.93 percentage points from the February forecast, marking the highest level in 16 years. The annual Consumer Price Index (CPI) is estimated to rise by 1.93%. Exports, imports, private consumption, and private investment have all been revised upward.
