Police in Tainan Bust Illegal Gambling Den, Arrest 16

A man surnamed Su was running a professional gambling den in his home in Tainan's Shanhua District, specializing in the poker game 'Niu-Niu.' Police raided the location on the night of the 27th with a search warrant, arresting Su and 15 gamblers on the spot. Some of the individuals were acquainted with each other. Following questioning, all were referred to prosecutors on charges of gambling. The Shanhua Precinct of the Tainan City Police Department stated today that officers seized playing cards, dice, and NT$305,400 in gambling funds at the scene.
