Central News Agency (Taipei, 29th) Japanese superstar Takuya Kimura announced today that he will perform at the Taipei Music Center in mid-November. His wife, Shizuka Kudo, recently announced that her Taipei concert has been rescheduled from October 25 to October 24. With both performing in Taiwan in the second half of the year, fans are highly anticipating the events.
Kimura announced today that he will embark on a tour visiting five cities, including performances at the Taipei Music Center on November 13 and 14. He revealed that he is currently working on new songs and is eager to meet his fans while performing overseas.
Additionally, Shizuka Kudo's fan club previously announced the "Shizuka Kudo 2026 CONCERT in TAIPEI" for October 25; it was later changed to October 24. She apologized for any inconvenience caused and expressed that she will work harder to provide a better stage performance, hoping for everyone's understanding.
When Kudo visited Taiwan in 2023 to promote her concert, she shared that the nougat gifted by Taiwanese fans was unforgettable. She posted about Taiwan multiple times on social media and even cooked sweet and sour pork after returning to Japan because she liked it so much.
Her connection to Taiwan goes beyond that; during the 2024 Hualien earthquake, she posted on X, calling on fans to donate and provide assistance to Taiwan.
