Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung hosted a luncheon for Tuvalu's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Labour and Trade, Paulson Panapa, on the 28th. Lin expressed deep gratitude for Tuvalu's immediate public statement supporting Taiwan when President Lai Ching-te's visit to Eswatini faced interference from China. Minister Panapa stated that under the 'Falepili Union' (Unity and Prosperity Treaty), both nations will continue to deepen cooperation in climate resilience, digital governance, smart agriculture, energy, healthcare, and education.
