Lin Shu-yi Wins MVP with Go-Ahead Triple, Tears Up Over Family Support

Outfielder Lin Shu-yi, who was promoted to the first team after transferring to the Fubon Guardians, hit a go-ahead triple in the 7th inning against his former team, the CTBC Brothers, helping his team secure a 4-2 victory and earning MVP honors. Lin joined the CTBC Brothers in the 2016 draft but was not retained after last season, leading to his move to the Guardians. Lin stated, "We are friends off the field, but there are no friends on the field."
