'Stealing Sound' to be Released in Taiwan; Pianos Placed in Cinemas for Promotion

Oscar-winning documentary director Daniel Roher's new film, 'Stealing Sound,' recently premiered in North America. Stars Dustin Hoffman and Leo Woodall recreated scenes from the film, arriving in a small truck, which became a topic of conversation. For the Taiwan premiere, pianos will be moved into cinemas for audiences to play. According to materials provided by the distributor, Dustin Hoffman praised Leo Woodall's acting in an interview, stating, 'He has a rare charm and delicacy, and I believe he will be the next international star.' Leo Woodall shared that he was completely captivated after reading the script for the first time, saying, 'This is not just a crime movie, but a psychological journey about sound and loneliness.' Daniel Roher said he always hoped to make a film that tells a story through sound, hoping audiences will immerse themselves in the protagonist's exceptionally sharp auditory world. The new film 'Stealing Sound' will be released in Taiwan on June 5th.
