The Yushan National Park Administration announced that regarding the incident where private vehicles entered the Yushan trailhead for sightseeing, there was a procedural error in the issuance of temporary passes by the Sixth Brigade of the Seventh Special Police Corps. The four vehicles involved did not meet the requirements for the national park's special road control regulations. They will be fined up to 3,000 TWD per vehicle in accordance with the National Park Law. The administration stated it will strengthen coordination and training with the police to prevent similar incidents in the future.
