DPP Legislator Lin Chun-hsien stated on the 29th that he has received reports of sales personnel entering university campuses under the guise of surveys to pressure students into signing unnecessary contracts for courses or books. Students often face intimidation when attempting to cancel these contracts. Lin urged the government to ban such sales activities on campus. In response, Tsai Yi-ching, Director of the Department of Student Affairs and Special Education at the Ministry of Education, stated that the Ministry will notify universities to raise student awareness and will consider adding unauthorized commercial solicitation to the list of prohibited activities in campus safety guidelines.
