Fortune magazine has released its 2026 list of the world's 100 most powerful business women. AMD CEO Lisa Su ranked third, while Foxconn Group's Yang Chiu-chin ranked 19th, making her the only Taiwanese woman on the list. During a recent visit to Taiwan, Su announced an investment of over $10 billion (approx. NT$313.8 billion) in the local industry, calling TSMC an "excellent partner." Su has become a key figure in shaping AI policy and was appointed by President Donald Trump to the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST). Yang Chiu-chin currently serves as the head of Foxconn's AI software business and was the company's first female rotating CEO.
