Ma Ying-jeou Foundation Sues Former Staff; Mother of Wang Kuang-tzu Reports Workplace Bullying

Central News Agency (Taipei, May 29) The Ma Ying-jeou Foundation filed a criminal complaint today against former employees Hsiao Hsu-tsen and Wang Kuang-tzu. The foundation stated that to protect its assets and social trust, it has filed a complaint with the Shilin District Prosecutors Office for breach of trust and embezzlement. Meanwhile, the mother of Wang Kuang-tzu released an open letter, claiming that after her daughter was tasked with caring for Ma Ying-jeou, she suffered from depression and anxiety due to workplace bullying and mistreatment. The mother stated that her daughter was forced out of the foundation and suffered severe mental distress. She has reported the foundation to the Taipei City Labor Bureau for workplace bullying and intends to seek legal remedies. The mother criticized the foundation for making one-sided accusations through the media.
