Taiwan Representative to Israel Delivers Speech in Jerusalem, Sharing Insights on Democratic Resilience and Economic Prosperity

Representative to Israel Lee Ya-ping was invited to attend the 10th anniversary of the 'Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast' (JPB) on the 27th, where she delivered a keynote speech sharing Taiwan's experience in democratic resilience, technological innovation, and international contributions. The representative office stated that the JPB has become a significant platform for global religious and public affairs leaders. In her speech, Lee highlighted that despite facing natural disasters, military threats, and international isolation, Taiwan has remained resilient in defending democracy and has become a global hub for high-tech and semiconductor industries. She emphasized that Taiwan is a key partner in democratic defense, cybersecurity, and supply chain security. Lee also noted that Taiwan and Israel share similar geopolitical challenges and both demonstrate high resilience.
