At approximately 6:00 AM this morning, a power outage occurred in the overhead lines at TRA's Qidu Station, causing train delays. The state-owned Taiwan Railways Corporation stated that after reports from the power department, it was confirmed that a bird's nest was the cause. After the nest was removed, power supply returned to normal. Final statistics show that 6 trains were affected, with a total delay of 93 minutes. According to TRA reports, the power outage caused an abnormality in the power supply, leaving the overhead lines between Qidu and Badu without power. At 7:32 AM, the power department reported that the bird's nest was the cause, and after its removal, power supply to the overhead lines at Qidu Station was restored to normal.
