AI Boosts Taiwan's Computer and Information Services Industry to Record Q1 Revenue

The AI wave is fueling business opportunities in digital transformation. According to the Administration of Digital Industries under the Ministry of Digital Affairs, driven by strong demand for corporate digital transformation, the acceleration of AI adoption, and the expansion of cybersecurity needs, the revenue of Taiwan's computer and information services industry reached 167.93 billion TWD in the first quarter of 2026, marking a record high for the quarter. This represents a 12.21% year-on-year increase. AI business opportunities are spreading from hardware manufacturing, such as semiconductors, to software development and system integration.
