According to the Central News Agency, rumors circulated on Threads regarding Chinese nationals working at the Taoyuan Airport Terminal 3 construction site. The Railway Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications stated that these individuals were eight Chinese technicians invited by the subcontractor, Taiwan Handle Industry Co., Ltd., for technical guidance on the A14 station ceiling and acoustic lining project. They entered Taiwan legally for 'business contract fulfillment' as approved by the National Immigration Agency. The Bureau emphasized that their activities were limited to the CU05 construction zone and did not involve sensitive systems or cybersecurity risks. The technical guidance has been completed, and all personnel have left the site.
