NTNU Graduation: Pegatron Chairman Jason Chang says 'No standard answers in the world, define your own questions'

National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) held its graduation ceremony today, bidding farewell to 4,573 graduates. Jason Chang, Chairman of Pegatron Corporation, was invited to deliver a speech, reminding students that the world is unlike school exams—there are no standard answers, and questions must be defined by oneself. NTNU's graduates this year include 2,527 undergraduates, 1,858 master's students, and 188 doctoral students. NTNU President Sung Yao-ting used AI to simulate his own graduation and cited cognitive psychologist Allan Collins, noting that knowledge is not isolated but rooted in community participation. Sung encouraged graduates to become 'core participants' who create value. Chang reminded students that the world changes rapidly, noting that memory capacity has jumped from 512MB to 1T, and that fuel-powered cars may disappear in 10 years. He urged graduates to keep an open mind, maintain lifelong learning, and transform knowledge into problem-solving and leadership skills.
