The Uni-Girls, the cheerleading squad for the Uni-Lions of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL), participated in the 'Taiwan Day' event held at the home stadium of the MLB's Houston Astros. The event coincided with a starting pitching appearance by Taiwanese player Kai-Wei Teng, and the cheerleaders made sure to show their support. As part of the '2026 TAIWAN GRAND SLAM WEEK' US tour, the Uni-Girls engaged in pre-game performances, autograph sessions, and photo opportunities. This was the second time the Houston Taiwanese Association hosted the event at the Astros' stadium, drawing over 1,000 Taiwanese attendees. The performance, which included a dragon dance by local high school students, left a lasting impression on the fans.
