(CNA, Taipei, May 31) Singer and actress Sun Shu-mei graduated on the 30th from the master's program in Communication Management at Shih Hsin University's Shanghai College. She admitted to being "addicted" to being a student, noting that school provided more than just knowledge; it taught her how to "socialize," communicate with others, and view her work from multiple perspectives. In a press release, Sun shared that she has always loved learning, whether through past study abroad experiences or taking courses like Japanese dessert making. However, she admitted the graduate program was "highly challenging." Her most significant takeaway was not just textbook knowledge, but "socialization." She never expected to be appointed student body president, but the role taught her how to communicate, coordinate, and care for others' emotions. Sun laughed, saying that despite starting her career early, she realized she was "very unsocialized" until she entered campus life, where she learned many social skills. She also credited her vice president for providing immense help. Regarding the impact on her career, Sun said the biggest change was viewing her work from different angles. She now understands the communication, marketing, and psychological aspects behind concerts and artist branding. Balancing work and study was difficult, often requiring her to write papers late at night, but she is moved by the results of her hard work.
