Tigerair Taiwan announced today that due to the impact of Typhoon Jangmi, a total of 8 flights to and from Okinawa, including those from Taoyuan, Kaohsiung, and Taichung, will be canceled tomorrow. Passengers are advised to use the "Flight Status" feature on the official website to check for the latest updates. According to the Central Weather Administration, Typhoon Jangmi strengthened into a moderate typhoon this morning and is moving north-northwest to north at 15-19 km/h. Tigerair Taiwan stated that the cancellations are based on flight safety considerations. Canceled flights on June 1 include IT-230/231/232/233 (Taoyuan-Okinawa), IT-792 (Taichung-Okinawa), and IT-288/289/729 (Kaohsiung-Okinawa).
