During the TPP's 2026 consensus camp in Longtan, Taoyuan, Huang criticized President Lai Ching-te's call for cross-party dialogue as inconsistent with his actions. Regarding Tsai Pi-ru's interest in running for Changhua County Magistrate, Huang noted that the party is following internal procedures and has tasked the Secretary-General with evaluating the situation.
