Huang Kuo-chang: TPP will not support further amendments to the Party Assets Act

CNA, Taoyuan, May 31. TPP Chairman Huang Kuo-chang stated today that the party's stance on the Ill-gotten Party Assets Settlement Act is clear, following previous amendments, and that the TPP will not support further legislative pushes. During the TPP's 2026 consensus camp in Longtan, Taoyuan, Huang criticized President Lai Ching-te's call for cross-party dialogue as inconsistent with his actions. Regarding Tsai Pi-ru's interest in running for Changhua County Magistrate, Huang noted that the party is following internal procedures and has tasked the Secretary-General with evaluating the situation.
