CPDC Appoints Media Veteran Ko Shu-jen as New Chairman

CPDC announced on the 1st that its board of directors has elected media veteran Ko Shu-jen as the new chairman, succeeding Chen Rui-long, who resigned after the annual shareholders' meeting on May 22nd. Ko has over 30 years of experience in the media industry, having served as deputy general manager of Era Television and TVBS, and as executive director of Global News. He also has a solid foundation in corporate governance, having served as an independent director for companies such as BES Engineering and RSEA Engineering. CPDC's board stated that Ko's cross-disciplinary background and independent perspective are the leadership qualities needed for the company's current organizational transformation. His communication skills and governance acumen will help build internal consensus and strengthen external communication. Ko stated that he will work with the management team to deepen the transformation and create long-term value for shareholders.
