Iranian media reported earlier that Tehran has suspended negotiations with Washington to protest Israel's actions in Lebanon. US President Trump posted today that talks with Iran are continuing at a rapid pace. Trump stated on Truth Social: 'Negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran are continuing at a rapid pace. Thank you for your interest!' Trump also mentioned a productive call with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, stating no troops would be sent to Beirut. Furthermore, he claimed to have had a good call with Hezbollah, who agreed to stop all fire. Conversely, the semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported that Iran has suspended talks due to violations of ceasefire conditions in Lebanon and Gaza, demanding a full Israeli withdrawal.
