According to media reports, Wang Guang-ci, a former employee of the Ma Ying-jeou Foundation, has filed a complaint regarding workplace bullying with the Taipei City Government. The city government stated today that the Labor Inspection Office has received the complaint and dispatched personnel to conduct an inspection, requiring the foundation to immediately initiate investigation procedures if it receives bullying complaints. As of 9:30 PM, despite attempts by reporters to contact the foundation, no response has been obtained. According to Storm Media, Wang filed the complaint online. The Taipei City Department of Labor told CNA that the Labor Inspection Office has received the complaint and conducted an inspection. It was found that the foundation has established preventive measures against workplace harassment and grievance channels in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, allowing employees to file complaints through relevant mechanisms. The Department of Labor stated that it has required the foundation to follow the 'Guidelines for Preventing Unlawful Infringement in the Performance of Duties' issued by the Ministry of Labor, immediately initiate investigation and handling procedures upon receiving bullying complaints, and complete the investigation and disposition within two months, or up to three months if necessary, to protect the rights of the employees. Regarding whether Wang Guang-ci personally filed the complaint, the Department of Labor stated that the complainant has not yet agreed to disclose their identity.
