Taiwan-Prague flights increase; airlines bullish on business and tourism potential

As Taiwan-Czech relations deepen, airlines are optimistic about the potential of the Taipei-Prague route. Currently, China Airlines operates three flights per week, with Starlux Airlines set to enter the market in August. Starlux plans to start with three flights per week, increasing to four in October. China Airlines remains bullish on the Central European market, reporting an average load factor of over 85% in the second quarter. Starlux Chief Strategy Officer Liu Yun-fu highlighted Prague's strategic location in the heart of Europe, facilitating connections to Germany and Austria. Both airlines intend to monitor market demand and continue strengthening their European networks.
