The Ministry of Education announced the list of scholarship recipients for study abroad for the 115th academic year on the 1st. A total of 225 students were selected from 934 qualified applicants. General students will receive $16,000 annually for up to two years. Meanwhile, outstanding students, indigenous students, and students with disabilities will receive $30,000 annually, and special education students will receive $20,000 annually, for up to three years. The Ministry noted that the number of applicants has been rising, with 1,101 people applying this year, a 10% increase from last year.
